Please take a moment to read and understand our club rules.

These rules have been designed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all members and staff.

  • Please carry your membership band or card whenever using the gym or other club facilities.
  • Do not consume food or hot drinks in the gym or fitness studios. The club bar lounge area is available for members.
  • Do not use your mobile phone for calls whilst using the gym equipment or within the gym area itself.
  • No photography or videoing is permitted within the facility.
  • Do not bring your gym bag into the gym it is a trip hazard. The club locker rooms are designed to take all your personal belongings. You are provided a membership band when you join and this will allow you to lock the lockers.
  • Please, if there is a line waiting to get water from the fountain, could you kindly not fill water bottles to their full capacity.
  • Please refrain from yelling, using profanity, inappropriate language and making loud sounds anywhere in the club.
  • Please wear appropriate sports footwear and clothing at all times. No outdoor footwear or trainers in the gym, no bare chests or feet. If you wear your trainers outside you should not wear them in the gym. Help us to keep the club clean for your pleasure.
  • Please carry a towel to sit on or lie on when using the equipment.
  • Please wipe down equipment after use including the classes using equipment provided.
  • Please ensure your clothing is clean, remember body odour is not pleasant for other people around you.
  • Do not sit on equipment between sets, particularly during busy periods. Sharing is caring.
  • Do not let the weights bang down. Lower them gently under control. If, you can’t then they are most likely too heavy for you to handle!
  • Please re-rack any free weights discs or dumbbells immediately after use and return accessories to their proper storage racks. Left on floor they are a trip hazard
  • Do not use chalk power in the gym. Gloves or hand grips are just as effective
  • Do not bring young people under the age of 13 into the gym.
  • Please report any faults immediately to staff on duty or to reception. The earlier we hear the quicker we can activate the repair.
  • We do not mind you using the studio outside class hours, but would you leave the lights off, ensure the heating/air conditioning are off and all equipment put back.
  • Using the showers: It is strictly forbidden to shave in the clubs showers or sinks. You could cut yourself, causing a bleed which is not nice and can also spreads diseases and infections.
  • Do not use body scrubs in the showers, steam room or sauna
  • Do not exfoliate in the showers, steam or sauna.
  • Do not leave your belongings outside a shower if you are not actually using it. Please put your items to the side so other people can use the shower.
  • In the event of the fire alarm sounding, please exit immediately by the nearest exit. If you are unsure of the exits and procedure to follow in the event of emergency, please ask at reception for information.
  • In the event that you have any requirement for assistance in evacuating during a fire alarm emergency, due to an ongoing impairment or disability, please contact reception to arrange an appointment to enable Dallington Fitness to work with you in setting up a PEEP (Personal Evacuation Escape Plan) for you.
  • In the event that you should develop any health issues, to that which you advised on sign up, please be aware it is your responsibility to inform the club. We appreciate your co-operation and understanding in following theses rules.
